The Kia Sisters Netball Team wishes to inform its supporters, partners, and the wider netball community that the contract of its Head Coach, Mr. Charles Brazio, has been terminated with immediate effect, effective 14 April 2026.
This decision follows the conclusion of an internal disciplinary process, which determined that the coach’s actions constituted a serious breach of the club’s code of conduct and were inconsistent with the values and professional standards expected within a competitive netball environment.
The decision was made in the best interests of the team to safeguard unity, discipline, and continued performance both on and off the court.
The club expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Brazio for his dedication and contribution to the growth and competitive journey of the Kia Sisters Netball Team. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.
To ensure continuity in technical leadership and maintain momentum ahead of upcoming fixtures, Mr. Kelvin Wahera has been appointed as Interim Head Coach with immediate effect. Mr. Wahera has been an integral member of the technical panel and brings valuable experience and a deep understanding of the team’s playing philosophy.
The club is confident in his ability to guide the team successfully during this transition period.
